What do these 3 letters mean?!
The above is a question I was recently asking…
You may be asking this question yourself.
Here are the details —>
the WHO:
Myself, of course, and about 14 others who have ALL done the World Race and now afterward are interested in growing further in leadership, discipleship, love for God’s created people and His Body, and in intimacy with God Himself.
the WHAT:
CGA stands for Center for Global Action.
It is a leadership and discipleship school associated with Adventures in Missions [through whom I was able to do the World Race! :D] designed to train and equip leaders to follow Christ and utilize influence and relationships to help others ‘taste and see’ Christ for themselves. It is a safe space within community to GROW deeper in intimacy with God, walk further in healing and freedom in order to lead others through the same, absorb and study Scripture, learn to practically apply Jesus-modeled Biblical principles in our lives, and SO much more!
the WHERE:
The CGA program is held at the headquarters of Adventures in Missions in Gainesville, GA–the same grounds where my Training Camp before the Race and Project Searchlight (the AMAZING retreat I attended with my squadmates one month after coming back to the States..) were held.
This campus is one I am familiar with and one that is dear to me, so this is AWESOME! 😀
the WHEN:
The CGA semester I have been accepted to be part of stretches from March 16th to July 13th.
the WHY:
CGA seems to be the place where all my passions collide!
I feel drawn to CGA because of
- the heart CGA leadership has for us to grow deeper in relationship with God.
- the space they will create for us to be challenged in leading ourselves well to lovingly lead others well and point them to the life and foundation we have in Christ.
- the opportunity to develop worship leading skills that I hope lead others to really LOOK at and consider God and express love back to Him through mediums of music and creativity.
I fully believe this program is where God is leading me next and where He wants me for His glory and my good in this next chapter.
And I am PUMPED to see what’s in store! 😀
the HOW:
This is where the God of provision, my WONDERFUL and perfect Father through Christ, and YOU come in!
It is only possible for me to be an apprentice with CGA if I raise the funds to meet my support goal.
This goal in total is $5,950.
This amount includes the cost of my community housing for the 4 months, program expenses, intensive Bible study, and admin overhead costs.
Raising this amount of money is NO BIG DEAL to God who creates, gives, and sustains everything!
He is the amazing PROVIDER, and He works through generous hearts and open hands like yours to meet these needs and accomplish His purposes.

Amazingly, the Lord goes before me in all of this, and I know that He has all the details already mapped out. I’m just in the middle of the processing of that happening here and now. Thank you for reading more about my journey and what I’m so excited to jump into next as I follow Christ!
